Private cloud is the computing services offered over the Internet and/ or over the internal network, which would only be connected by select users/ applications. It has some benefits as a public cloud can offer including a self-service model and scalability, and some that the public cloud won't have - better control and a customizable platform as the resources are dedicated privately.
